Summer camp: educational project and giraffe conservation in Kenya

Open to young people aged 15 to 17, this summer camp in Kenya gives you the opportunity to contribute to a volunteer project in a wildlife reserve! During free time, the program also offers supervised activities to discover the country and its culture.

The Volunteer Project

Join a team committed to protecting wildlife in a regional nature reserve.

Most youth camps follow a similar structure:

First day: upon arrival, teens are welcomed by the staff, introduced to the other participants, and given a tour of the facilities to help them feel comfortable.

Monday to Friday:

  • Morning: language classes (an average of 15 hours per week)
  • Afternoon: cultural and sports activities (visits, workshops, nature outings, etc.)
  • Evening: free time, games, and opportunities to connect with international participants

Weekend: excursions and visits to explore more of the country and practice the language in real-life situations.

Registering for a summer camp abroad is generally done in several steps:

  1. Choose a suitable program based on the teenager’s interests and language level.
  2. Check the registration requirements: age, language level, administrative prerequisites.
  3. Call with our team to guide you toward the right project and answer your questions.
  4. Complete an application form including information about the child, any specific needs, and parental authorizations.
  5. Plan the logistics: transport, visa, travel insurance, vaccinations if necessary.
  6. Finalize the registration and prepare for departure, making sure you have all the necessary equipment. Sports camps often require suitable clothing.

Of course! Whatever your academic track, you can take part.

Our 10th-grade internships abroad cover a wide range of areas that positively impact local communities. You can choose to take part in:

  • Education: Support teaching in schools, run educational workshops for children, or take part in awareness campaigns on crucial topics such as the environment.
  • Environmental conservation: Join reforestation projects, help protect endangered species, or take part in beach and ocean clean-ups.
  • Community support: Help with the construction, renovation, and development of educational infrastructure.
