This humanitarian project in South America aims to support children, teenagers, and adults in vulnerable situations through different initiatives around the city of Bogota, Colombia.
– Building self-esteem. All the projects aim to improve the situation of children, teenagers, and adults by giving them the opportunity to work on their self-esteem in a safe environment. This is achieved through various workshops, tutoring, sports, games, and cultural activities. Organic garden and urban garden projects such as the “Dream Forest” have also been developed.
– The tutoring center for children supports them in various areas: nutrition (balanced breakfast and lunch), psychological support, homework supervision, academic reinforcement, art therapy and music therapy, as well as sports and football classes for children and teenagers.
– Carpentry and weaving workshops have also been set up.
During this humanitarian project in South America, volunteers will be involved in different tasks such as:
– Supporting the development of the organic garden and the Dream Forest
– Improving housing infrastructure
– Translating / guiding visitors
– Leading activities / playing sports with children
– Teaching English, music, art, and theater to children
– Helping children with their homework
