Social missions in Bogota

Social missions in Bogota

This humanitarian project in South America aims to assist vulnerable children, adolescents, and adults through various projects.

Self-esteem reinforcement: All projects aim to improve the situation of children, adolescents, and adults, providing them with the opportunity to work on their self-esteem in a safe environment. This is done through different workshops, academic support, sports, games, and cultural activities. Organic garden and urban garden projects, known as “Dream Forest,” have been implemented.

– The educational support center for children provides assistance in various areas, including nutrition (balanced breakfast and lunch), psychological support, homework assistance, academic reinforcement, art therapy, music therapy, sports classes, and football for children and adolescents.

– Woodworking and weaving workshops have also been established.

During this humanitarian project in South America, volunteers will be involved in various tasks such as:

  • Supporting the development of the organic garden and Dream Forest.
  • Improving housing infrastructure.
  • Translating/guiding visitors.
  • Organizing activities and engaging in sports with children.
  • Teaching English, music, art, and theater to children.
  • Assisting children with their homework.
  • Supporting teachers in their pedagogy based on the educational practices in the volunteers’ home countries.
  • Woodworking and weaving workshops also welcome volunteers with experience in these fields and an intermediate level of Spanish.
