Whether you want to promote the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities or provide support to babies and young children with severe disabilities, these missions offer you the opportunity to engage in enriching projects.

Professional and Social Integration for All in Barcelona

In this program in Barcelona, you will support adults with disabilities in their socio-professional integration by involving them in ethical and responsible tourism.

Your role:

  • Assist with decoration, painting, gardening, and maintenance of the premises.
  • Support people with disabilities in their daily tasks.
  • Organize and set up spaces for community events and summer childcare.
  • Participate in local social initiatives.
  • Contribute to the communication and coordination of the project.
  • Promote inclusion and social interactions between staff, responsible travelers, and other volunteers.
  • Support accessibility projects related to the social mission of the hostel where you will be staying.
  • Assist with translation for the staff (French/English).

This role offers the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds, gain valuable experience, and actively contribute to a positive and inclusive social impact through solidarity and teamwork.

Volunteers will work 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

Support Babies with Severe Disabilities

Join a group of volunteers at a day hospital for babies and young children, where you will help implement adapted activities, stimulate the children, and assist them in interacting with their environment, enabling them to grow and thrive despite their physical and mental disabilities.
Create fun activities in collaboration with the team of professionals, engage in adapted creative activities, and have fun while taking care of babies and children aged 3 months to 10 years.

Your role:

  • Support the logistics of the NGO’s activities: meals, activities, excursions.
  • Organize spaces and educational materials.
  • Prepare educational games and recreational activities for the well-being of the children.
  • Participate in communication and fundraising actions.
  • Provide support to the families of the children and babies.
  • Cook and prepare meals for the community.
  • Ensure the cleaning of safe spaces.

You will work during the week, from Monday to Friday. Weekends are free to enjoy the city of Barcelona! Keep in mind that you will be quite busy during the week, with accommodation located outside the city center.

On-site, you will have two mandatory Spanish classes per week. However, if you wish to take lessons before your departure, we offer optional Spanish courses with a partner school. This allows you to improve your Spanish in advance for those who want to learn the basics of the language. Contact us for more information.

For this program, the prices differ from the one with adults. Please contact us for more details.
