Permaculture project in Vietnam

Permaculture project in Vietnam

Join the permaculture program in the Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and experience an exciting culture!

Take the opportunity to contribute to sustainable agricultural practices at a 10-hectare eco-farm located just 35 km from the city center. As a volunteer, you will be actively involved in various tasks, from crop maintenance to animal feeding and other equally important duties.

Program Description

This program seeks dedicated volunteers to help unlock the full potential of this vast yet underutilized farm.

You will participate in daily activities guided by experienced farm staff. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, taking care of 15 cats, 5 dogs, various poultry, and other farm animals. Working hours from Monday to Friday range from 4 to 6 hours per day, ensuring a meaningful and immersive experience.

You will also have the chance to take part in the harvesting of fresh and organic produce grown on the farm. Enjoy the satisfaction of harvesting the fruits of your labor and savoring locally grown fruits directly at the source. This hands-on experience adds a unique dimension to the permaculture project.

Contry informations

Vietnam is currently the 13th most populous country in the world, covering an area of 331,211 square kilometers. Today, despite being shaped by its past, Vietnam is a rapidly growing economy, supported by tourism drawn to its fascinating history and beautiful sites.

The Cu Chi area is renowned for its historical significance, particularly the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. Beyond its historical attractions, Cu Chi boasts lush landscapes, rubber plantations, and serene rural scenery, uniquely blending history and nature.

Aside from the beautiful northern countryside, rice fields, and beaches, Vietnam is a country on the move. Roads are being modernized, new hotels are opening everywhere, and its cities are rapidly expanding.
