Support a kindergarten in Vietnam and share your knowledge of English with the children. In this program, the main goal is to engage as much as possible with the children. It is also an opportunity for a meaningful intercultural exchange between the children and the volunteers. You will have the chance to discover many aspects of Vietnamese culture and contribute to a meaningful project.
As a volunteer, you will be there to support the local team. Children aged 3 to 6 years are at a crucial stage of their development, and you will help broaden their knowledge, provide them with a rich intercultural experience, and improve their English skills.
You will be in a kindergarten in the city of Ho Chi Minh, where you will participate in the daily tasks of the facility, allowing you to better understand how the educational system works and immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture.
You will assist the teaching staff for approximately five hours per day, split between the morning and afternoon. Through this structure, you will have the opportunity to build connections, share your knowledge with the children, and be a valuable support to the school. You will also have free time to explore the city and its surroundings, making this program a well-rounded experience.
Don’t worry if you don’t have specific qualifications. The idea is to provide all the help possible, whether it’s simply allowing the children to hear English pronunciation, establishing basic skills, or offering any additional assistance for their personal development.
The primary objective of the program is to assist the teaching staff. You will need to always take care of the children and be there for them. The kindergarten’s needs may evolve. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
