Childcare project in Morocco

This program allows you to offer your support in nurseries and schools in Morocco, in the city of Tangier. The institutions welcoming you are private or public organizations that care for socially disadvantaged children.

You will have the opportunity to interact with children and local staff, gaining a rewarding and stimulating international experience!

This volunteer mission requires a basic level of French or Arabic.

 

Your Role

The goal of this program is to assist the local staff in their daily work. You will be placed in various institutions where tasks may vary.

Your tasks, among others, may include:

  • Helping children with their homework
  • Interacting with children and encouraging cultural exchange
  • Introducing young children to the French language
  • Preparing and leading lessons and activities of your choice (painting, collage, drawing, music, games, sports)
  • Supervising and supporting children in their daily school life

 

You can also participate in a project with children with mild mental disabilities. Please contact us for more information.

ONCE THERE

Your accommodation

You will be accommodated in an apartment in a shared room (1 to 3 people) in the city of Tangier. The apartment includes a common living room with sofas and a television, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, additional separate toilets, a dining room, and a shared kitchen equipped with a washing machine, dryer, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, iron, and a large terrace.

The apartment has Wi-Fi Internet access. Towels and bed linen are provided. A cleaner comes every two weeks.

The apartment is located in a residential building with 24-hour security service. Supermarkets, shops, a pharmacy, and a bank are available in the neighborhood. A bus stop and a taxi station are also nearby.

Meals are not included, but a kitchen is available for you to prepare your own meals.
