Summer camp: Humanitarian projects in Bali

Summer camp: Humanitarian projects in Bali

During this summer camp in Bali, teenagers aged 15 to 17 will have the opportunity to take part in two humanitarian projects and give real meaning to their trip. One project involves sea turtle conservation and the other allows participants to engage in a construction and renovation project alongside local communities.

In addition to volunteering, activities are offered during free time to encourage immersion and discovery of the country.

Construction and Renovation Project

Young participants will have the chance to join two volunteer programs during their trip. This allows them to truly discover the local culture, connect with communities, practice their English, and create unforgettable memories!

Support local communities in the villages of Ubud and the surrounding areas. The goal is to help build and renovate public infrastructure such as schools, playgrounds, and public libraries.

Your tasks may vary, but they generally involve creating drawings and paintings in schools and helping with basic construction work.

Sea Turtle Conservation Project

On certain days of the trip, you will have the opportunity to visit a turtle conservation center that cares for injured turtles, collects eggs, raises baby turtles, and releases them once they are ready.

You will assist the local team in their daily work, helping with tasks such as cleaning the tanks or feeding the turtles.

Constant supervision is provided, and a group leader is present at all times to meet the needs of the participants.

These two volunteer projects offer valuable learning experiences for young people. Getting involved alongside local communities opens the door to meaningful reflection and is also a great way to improve their English.

Cultural Activities

Throughout the trip, the teens are supervised and will be able to join activities with the other program participants during their free time and in the evenings.

Here are the activities generally offered:
