In this French-speaking program in Senegal, open to young people aged 16 and over, you will join an NGO involved in various fields such as water supply (well construction, installation of sanitation facilities and irrigation systems), ecological agriculture, access to education, support for underprivileged communities, environmental protection, and the construction of eco-friendly buildings.
The goal is to take part in the farm’s different activities and contribute to nature protection in Senegal by establishing sustainable organic practices. Your tasks will therefore be varied, allowing you to get involved in activities according to your interests and skills.
By helping the farm with its daily missions, you will learn new ecological and sustainable farming practices.

You may be asked to go to other farms within the organization if needed. As a volunteer, you can choose to focus on a particular area. You work 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
This leaves you with free time to enjoy the country, its culture, and its landscapes, so you can fully immerse yourself.

You will be accommodated in an authentic stone farm that can host a maximum of ten volunteers in five rooms. The house is equipped with showers and toilets, as well as a WLAN connection.
Breakfast and dinner are included.
Upon your arrival at Dakar airport, a member of the local team will pick you up and drive you to the project site. The airport transfer takes approximately two hours. Once on site, the local team will welcome you and help you become familiar with the project and its participants.
The project is located in a rural area in western Senegal, close to the Saloum Delta National Park. In this park, you can explore the deltas of the Sine and Saloum rivers, with their mangrove forests and rare animal and plant species.
