Located in the Tambopata National Reserve in South America, the goal of this program is to preserve the biodiversity of this tropical rainforest by participating in the monitoring of species such as pumas, jaguars, sloths, spider monkeys and capuchins, river otters, and anacondas while immersing yourself in the stunning beauty of the Amazon.
This program can go beyond traditional volunteering: independent research is encouraged. Participants develop scientific projects with standardized data collection. By combining academic activities with practical conservation efforts, these projects can also be used for reports or university theses.
This program is available all years round.

Your accommodation consists of shared bungalows, housing up to four people, equipped with bathrooms and showers (without hot water). You will have access to common areas, including a dining room, a library, a terrace with hammocks, and a workspace. The area is equipped with field materials, games, and books, as well as an extensive network of forest trails. Additionally, a volleyball court is available.
Private bungalows are also offered.
Your accommodation is located in the Tambopata National Reserve, accessible via a short boat ride from Puerto Maldonado in the Madre de Dios region, southeastern Peru. You will be surrounded by lakes, hanging bridges, and nature reserves.
Tambopata is nestled in the heart of this spectacular landscape, offering an idyllic setting for immersing yourself in the surrounding beauty.
An intermediate level of Spanish is required to participate in our projects.
