Freepackers summer camps are more than just a vacation for teenagers. They are immersive experiences that stand out because of their educational and impactful approach. But why choose a humanitarian trip for young people?

Many young people today are motivated to travel while having a positive impact on the world around them. The advantage of participating in service projects is that one can travel and discover the world while also learning through community initiatives.
At a time when awareness of environmental issues is crucial, it is important that young people have the opportunity to explore and see sustainable development concepts firsthand.
All summer camps are working with projects validated by the Freepackers team that were created in collaboration with local communities in response to a real need. Young people and adults work together to create lasting impacts.
On the projects, young people – international and local – are encouraged to contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. Engaging together in concrete environmental conservation actions helps to promote better global awareness.
Freepackers programs combine learning with experience. While studying abroad, teenagers discover new cultures, languages and lifestyles, while also developing social and technical skills.
Living in a community with other teenagers from different backgrounds encourages tolerance, respect and empathy. It can be a formative experience that prepares them to interact positively with people from different cultures.
Freepackers is designed to be totally inclusive and ethical. Teenagers are encouraged to work together, to value diversity, and to respect the community values that underlie these projects.
The humanitarian journey in the form of a summer camp is a unique travel experience that combines adventure, education and responsibility. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a better world. By participating in sustainable development projects, teenagers develop useful skills, global awareness and make unforgettable memories.
