This summer camp in Ireland is ideal for young learners aged 12 to 17 who want to have fun and experience adventures while learning English and meeting like-minded teenagers from around the world. The program, available from 2 to 8 weeks, includes 15 hours of general English lessons, combined with a varied program of sports, creative, and cultural activities.

Language Lessons

The program includes 15 hours of English lessons combined with numerous sports, creative, and cultural activities.

Experienced teachers deliver an exciting program focused on practical English and communication, allowing you to explore themes related to Irish culture, history, and music. The goal is to combine English lessons with practical application, applying knowledge in real-life situations and truly making progress.

 

Cultural Activities

To enjoy a full experience of Irish culture, activities are offered to teenagers.

Here are some of the activities you can take part in during the program:

  • Creative workshops (postcard making, Viking helmet crafting)
  • Visits and excursions (Kilkenny, Killiney Hill, museum)

Sunday:

  • Arrival day, icebreaker workshop.

Monday:

  • 08:00 – 09:00: Breakfast
  • 09:00-12:30: English lessons
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
  • 14:00 – 17:30: Badminton and creative workshop
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Movie night
  • 22:00 – 07:30: Rest time

Tuesday:

  • 09:00-12:30: English lessons
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
  • 14:00 – 17:30: Irish sports and team-building workshop
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Games and quiz night

Wednesday:

  • Full day excursion to Dublin to learn about the city’s history and culture. Students are always guided and supervised by school staff.

Thursday:

  • 09:00-12:30: English lessons
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
  • 14:00 – 17:30: Hockey and team challenges
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Irish music dance evening

Friday:

  • 09:00-12:30: English lessons
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
  • 14:00 – 17:30: Basketball and Tie-Dye T-Shirt workshop
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Night walk

Saturday:

  • 09:00-12:30: English lessons
  • 12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
  • 14:00 – 17:30: Volleyball and meditation
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Talent show
  • 19:00 – 21:45: Farewell or game night

Saturday:

  • Full day: Killiney Hill, Killiney Beach games, and ice cream. Weekends are usually dedicated to full-day excursions.

ONCE THERE

Your Accommodation

Two options are available for accommodation: you can stay with a host family in Drogheda or in a student residence in Dublin.

Host Families: Located just 45 minutes from Dublin city center and 30 minutes from Dublin airport, Drogheda retains a charming small-town atmosphere while offering plenty of activities and attractions to discover. Host families are located between 20 and 40 minutes from the school.

Student Residence: For those seeking a residential experience, our camp at Marino Institute in Dublin offers single rooms with private bathrooms.

 

Meals

Meals are included in the program. Breakfast is continental, with a hot lunch and dinner (packed lunch provided for weekend excursions).

 

Requirements

– Ages 10-17
– Copy of passport or ID card
– All levels of English are accepted

 

Supervision

The teachers and support staff are trained and available to guide and assist students throughout the program. A reception desk on campus is always open to welcome students and provide guidance if needed.

On your first day, you will meet an Academic Manager who will support you throughout your program.

 

Transportation

All transportation for activities and excursions is included. For students staying with host families, you will receive a transport pass to use a private bus.
