Humanitarian projects in Romania

“Family” projects are suitable for children aged 4 and up. Our advisors will provide personalized recommendations based on your children’s age, the destination, and the type of mission.

Our projects in Romania are located in the eastern part of the Transylvania region.

Situated in the centre of the country, Transylvania is home to many mountains, medieval towns and castles.

Preserving the flora and fauna in nature reserves and national parks is a top priority, which means you can immerse yourself in unspoilt nature, discover remote villages and farms and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Wildlife and nature projects

The animal project offers you the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs by training them, caring for them and accompanying them in their search for a new loving home. You don’t need any special knowledge, only your commitment and positive attitude. By getting actively involved, you’ll be contributing to positive social experiences for the dogs, helping to increase their chances of adoption. The ultimate aim is to create a link between these animals and loving homes, giving these four-legged companions a second chance.

*The minimum duration for this project is 2 weeks. Contact us to find out more.

There is also an environmental project in Romania which invites you to immerse yourself in ecological agriculture in a magnificent community garden. Together with the local population, you will play an essential role in the care and expansion of the garden. By taking part in gardening activities, you will be supporting a sustainable initiative while creating links with the local community. This project offers a unique opportunity to get involved in environmentally-friendly farming practices.

*The minimum duration for this project is 4 weeks.

EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS

Take part in two inspiring educational projects aimed at providing better opportunities for socially disadvantaged children in Romania.

As part of the school project, your role as a volunteer is to support a local school by preparing English lessons and helping to organise a summer camp during the summer months. By working closely with the children, you will help to create unforgettable educational experiences, supporting their passions and motivation for learning.

Similarly, the tutoring project takes place in an after-school club in Transylvania, where you play an essential role in the development of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Your commitment takes the form of invaluable assistance with their studies and homework, as well as playtime to encourage their overall development.

Together, these two projects give you the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of these young people, by supporting their education and personal development.

*The minimum duration for these projects is 4 weeks. It is also possible to combine projects.
