Summer camps in Malaga

Summer camps in Malaga

In Malaga, our partner school offers a youth mission abroad. The city will surprise you with its culture and history, beaches, the friendliness of its people and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s the dream destination for teenage students! Students can choose between 1, 2 and 4 weeks and live in a student residence on a full board basis.

Language courses

All students will participate in an intensive Spanish course of 20 lessons per week. The course is student-focused, lighthearted and playful to ensure the classes are enjoyable and engaging. Classes are held on the residence premises and have a maximum of 12 students per class. All class material is included.

The courses are taught entirely in Spanish and promote the four language skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

Cultural activities included in the youth mission abroad

Students will have a mixture of cultural, social and sporting activities every day of the week, night activities and weekend excursions. These activities are designed to allow students to explore the local culture, practise Spanish outside of the classroom and have fun.

Cultural Activities:

These are organised activities in Málaga, lasting between 2 and 4 hours. They will take place in the afternoon during the week. Examples of activities: walking tours, flamenco and salsa classes, museum visits, and more. 5 activities per week.

Night Activities:

Students will have night time activities to socialise in an organised environment. These may include disco nights, movie nights, night tours, etc. 3 night activities per week.

Weekend Excursions:

Students will take a day or weekend excursion to a nearby cultural site. This could be Nerja/Frigiliana, Marbella and the coast, Río Chillar or Aqualand. During the day trips, students will have a packed lunch as well as a snack provided by the school.

The students will be supervised by facilitators who are experienced in working with children and coordinating groups. The ratio of staff to students during programme activities is 1:15.
