The Two Paulines in Bali: Their Experience with Sea Turtles
Humanitarian trip Bali
Pauline A. and Pauline S. took part in the sea turtle conservation project in Bali: they share their experience!
WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE BROUGHT US…
This experience was very enriching for us. The mission allowed us to meet people of all ages and nationalities; we were able to open up to others and discover a culture different from our own. We also learned a lot about sea turtles and their way of life. Being part of such an experience was a real opportunity that brought us a lot personally, thanks to the encounters we made, especially with the coordinators who were very attentive and gave off good vibes.
OUR BEST MEMORIES…
Our best memories are the Thursday evenings reserved for the campfire. We would sit around the fire, the coordinators played guitar, and everyone sang. The atmosphere was incredible, and it was also a chance for those leaving the mission to say goodbye to the rest of the group. Everyone was usually very moved, and we ended up dancing and singing all together. Other great memories include discovering the island and moments spent with the turtles (especially when we had to feed them).

A LITTLE NOTE…
This is an incredible opportunity to open up to others, discover a wonderful country, and feel useful. We highly recommend this project! As well as Freepackers – everything went smoothly for us, and the team is attentive.
