Dominique got involved in the reserve in Namibia, and reflects on her wildlife travel experience !

 

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION…

The project, its ambition, and the vision of the founders are truly impressive. So much as been accomplished in just 23 years. The sites are beautiful, and Namibia is a stunning and very endearing country.

THE POSITIVE ASPECTS !

• The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, regardless of their level of responsibility (though there was a slight issue with the transfer drivers).

 

• The volunteers’ activities were varied (especially in the farm).

 

• Very good balance between work and rest.

 

• Very good meals

 

• Very pleasant tent accommodation

 

• The possibility to switch sites (thanks to the coordinator Corné accommodating flexibility !).

 

It was a Wonderful experience that we greatly enjoyed and highly recommend !
