Sea Turtle Conservation in Bali: Linda shares her family experience with us.

WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE BROUGHT ME…

We were touched by the warm welcome from the Balinese people in general, their simple lifestyle marked by religious rituals, their joy of living, and their serenity.

Caring for the turtles was a true pleasure for the whole family! Releasing a few of them into the ocean was a very emotional moment.

Nusa Penida is still a wild and authentic island. Our stay was a wonderful lesson in humility. We gained a lot of perspective on certain situations that used to stress us out.

WHAT TASKS WERE ENTRUSTED TO US ON SITE?

• Cleaning the tanks
• Feeding the turtles,
• Beach and street cleaning,
• Creating informational signs about plastic waste.
